One seeks the vision of an angel
Without really looking
Hopin her true angel won't be found
But that she is found by the angel
Has an angel found me
Or are we both still looking
Figuratively
Of course
Torn between a familiar but
No longer well traveled path and
That, which keeps us safeguarded and unseen
To choose the constancy of today
Is comfortin tomorrow
And sometimes deters us from choosin a diff way
So what is it that makes one choose
The familiar that is strangely not so anymore
This is not the usual reflection lookin back at you
You've dropped guard and opened up
Your heart...your mind...your soul...
One should be so lucky as to see you as you do
One should know they are honored for you have offered that look
And one knows...
Going down the path frequently traveled
But no longer traveled by you, w fear
They say follow your heart but the heart is lost
Conflictin with the confines of the mind
And the mind is reserved but intrigued and
Therefore allows you in but can't let go of the heart
However, by allowin you entry has given you a piece of the soul
Which can be just as dangerous, if not more so, than the takin of
But I'm sure one would rather the acceptance of the gift than the thievery
All good things in due time...
