Her addiction was
Far greater than any drug
In which she partook
It was greater than The Bottle
And was more than Mary J rolled
That she, everyday, intook
It was better than any pills taken
And was larger than love making
Nothing measured up to this particular fixation
She was the love of my life
(Or so I thought)
The one I made many a sacrifice
The one I gave up everything for
To eventually make her my wife
(I rearranged EVERYTHING for her)
Made simple mistakes which she never let me forget
But surprise, surprise, I open my eyes
And I'll be damned if she wasn't doing worse shit
Since the beginning of this four year relationship
Never met someone so heartless as she
So stuck on herself, she sucked many dry like a leech
Thought that she loved me, swore we were in love
But as I made plans to spend my life with her
She was looking for her ex to fuck
{Ain't that a bitch!}
(So many lies told)
Didn't find out until she left for another
After the days became long and the nights grew longer
Strung me along thinking that we could reconcile
And that I could soon forget past events that were so vile
But she told that to her, too
All while still "in like" with her current boo
Three is a crowd, but four is simply unfathomable
This was much more than a love triangle
{TRICKED}
(HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!!!)
[She still won't face the music]
It's her jones
The ache of her unhappiness
And the hurt of her insecurities
Created
The itch to be wanted
The need to be loved
The thirst for attention
Even when she received that from me
The proclivity to lie
The audacity to cheat
The uncontrollable urge
To feed off of those with strength
So that she could appear to be more than what she was
A COWARD, A LIAR, AND WEAK

The Ache OfHeartache is not always easily expressed. However, when one can find the words to convey that pain which is so deep that it cannot be reached (not even if you took a shovel and dug 50ft) they breathe life back into an unbeating heart and have the ability to create beauty out of grotesque acts.
